Donald's Fire Haven Museum is owned by life long fire fighter, Donald E. Whitaker. In the local area he is know simply as Chief. Donald and his wife Ethel, built the museum on their property and it opened to the public in 2003. He started his collection 48 years ago and he is still collecting. The museum is dedicated to the preservation and education of the rich history of the fire fighting service, fire prevention education and fire safety. Donald is the main tour guide and shares the story behind each and every item. His collection includes many items from foreign countries he has visited.
